About Me

My Work

I'm still trying to find my style. I feel that there is something that is constant through most of my visuals, a feeling most of them give off. So although I'm still experimenting and developing my eye, the plan is to always keep an idea or a feeling through what's next. Even though I've found inspiration from paintings, films and other photographers work, most of my inspiration comes from listening to music.

Certain songs  have a way of transmuting a feeling and altering your mood. I want to create visuals that could do a similar thing. Whether this is done through experimental cinematic lighting, body language of a model, set design or clothing, I want to explore different emotions and concepts. Whether it is done through conceptual or fashion work, I want to construct visuals that can evoke an emotion and have an impact on any individual that could come across them.

Biography

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. At the age of 15 my father went through a number of near death health complications that required my family and I to move to New York.

Having to leave everything I knew behind and start all over in a new country with a new language I struggled in the beginning, but as I dove into the culture of the city and all of the opportunities it had to offer I fell in love with New York City. In 2018, after having multiple shoulder injuries that led to surgeries, I was no longer able to do what I enjoyed, which was baseball and being in the gym. I needed to find a new passion., My friends were into film and photography at the time and introduced me to photography and I've been in love with it since.
